Ya, I know I am really terrible terrible when it comes to blogging! CMI!! Teehee!!

Ok, it is time for new resolutions again!

I admit that I really do not try my best to meet my resolutions! Haha! But it is a good thing to list out resolutions so that you can have goals to work towards at least & at the end of the year, look back on them, thinking, "Really, those were my resolutions which I aimed yet I did not find any one of them familiar!" Teehee!!

1. Be the best mummy to Luzio

At least, the best! If not, then good? Hehe! I hope for my Luzio to grow up well fed & chubbier, healthier! Time to start planning for his 1st year birthday!! Stressed Liao!!

2. Start a strict exercise regime!

I still have those post-pregnancy fat on my upper belly! I read that those are actually visercal fat which is really hard hard to get rid of!!! Oh my, can anyone help me??? OMG!!

I even told my hubby to help me out on this by .... looking after Luzio so that I can go exercise without any worries!! And thinking of changing my meal times like pushing dinner time back to 5 or 6 so that I can do exercise at around 8pm! It means having simple meals like bread with ham or whatever in office!

3. Don't be lazy on my beauty regime! 

During my pregnancy, I started being lazy to do skincare & makeup... After I gave birth, it probably became worse... It's not that my skin condition is getting worse but I just feel conscious about my skin. 

Right, if you don't take care of your skin, you'll age fast! 

4. Travel

Have not gone out of sunny SG in 2014 due to my pregnancy, so I am really itching to travel!! 

Already made some travel plans for 2015! Woohoo!! Can't wait for the time to come with my hubby & Luzio!

5. Treasure time with loved ones

Being a full time working mummy indeed does hog most of my time. So many things to do especially my online store too!

I went back to work last Mon after a long 16 weeks of maternity leave!

While at work, I kept thinking, "How's Luzio? Daddy plays with him?"

Really envious of Daddy who is by Luzio's side all times and might catch his firsts... :(

The first 3 months:

- I am quite lucky as I did not have any morning sickness which is one of the common symptoms that come with pregnancy.
- There were some certain foods that I had to avoid as per superstitions. Each time I wanted to eat certain foods, I would always google to confirm that it is safe for the little one.
- I only found a gynae just before 10 weeks. There is no hurry finding a gynae but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable with the gynae. Right, he/she is the one who will deliver your baby!
- A little baby bump could be seen at the end of the 3 months.
- As time progressed, I would get tired easily and fall asleep fast.
- I went overseas to Penang slightly after the 1st month. At that time, I was not aware. Later, my gynae advised not to fly for the 1st 3 months. Thanks God that the little one is okay!
- A con that comes with it is my deep cravings for foods that are sinful like salmon sashimi, ice cream, durians, everything! But I do take ice cream in moderation about once a month? Can't wait to pop out!
- Boobs grew bigger as milk ducts were formed to produce milk.
- No exercise was allowed.
- I took pleasure in being pampered. :D 

The 4th & 5th months:

- The bump got bigger.
- At first, I felt some bubble-like movements inside. Only when the 5th month came, it was obvious and some movements could be seen on the surface. It was a wonderful and funny feeling. :)
- Stretchmarks was one thing I worried about. I used Cetaphil moisturising lotion. Have to see if it works.. But it would be for sure if you had grown so faster.
- My gynae asked me if I needed to fly anywhere. It can be before 32 weeks. But I'd rather stay here in S'pore as it is my 1st time.

That should be all. :)

Good that the end of Feb is signaling that March is coming soon! I reckon my 3 samples will be ready by that time! As you know I co-own a blogshop with my younger sister , La Nouveau Mode, we decided to give our shop a new look as there are some reasons. So, we promise it will be a better overall shopping experience for u! Everything, including the name will be changed!! Do keep tuned in to our latest news! Thanks for your support! :)

Yay!! I don't need to stick myself in! And getting proud of it day by day... Keke! Sighs.. There are cons to it. No more eating my fav - sashimi, bubble tea etc! Have to eat everything in moderation but not everything... Stay away from certain foods.. Before I buy any foods which I have not eaten before during this period, I always google if it is safe anot!

Apparently, we only got to know about the good news today when we went to her office where the Shiseido Sale was being held!

When it comes to us ourselves, we have many many reasons for not being quite ready to plan for a family. Yes, I know I'm approaching my 30s and there is a greater risk in old expectant mothers. I've even been advised to have children at an early age by my aunt who had her 2 children at an older age.

1. We have no stable income to speak of.

My current work is only a contract employment and might expire by end June which is this month. Then, I am off back again to a tedious job hunt whoever knows how long it would take... And there is the flat which we just bought, coming along with the loan...

2. Bringing a child up takes lots of money.

There is the milk powder, diapers, etc after the birth. And the most important aspect is the child's education - nursery, kindergarten, primary school leading to university in the end. The total sum could amount up to a half million? It is just my estimate.. Basically, it would create a financial burden.

3. We are going through something.

There are some things which we yet have to resolve and I would not want those to affect our child. Well, I would not be going much deeper into this, nothing more than this.

Hey, don't let this discourage your plans to start a family as we all have our own different reasons and problems. 

I believe if we had a child, we would do our best as much as we can to give him/her the life they deserve. I might have my expectations of my family. I would surely want my children to have the best yet appreciate what they have. However, at the same time, I am worried about how our children would feel when they are growing up. Like they only have the basic necessities while other children have more other things and they wonder why they don't have while others have. I might also not be a good mother to my children and I would certainly feel bad and guilty for bringing them into the world. There is the continuous worrying about them going astray during their puberty years.. Yes, there are so many things to consider when planning for a family.

Should I do a backorder for this? Yay or no?

As we grow up & lead our own lives, it's inevitable that we drift apart away. I agree that we would have a few best friends in our whole lives. 

In my case, I have a few good friends but we rarely meet up. I am always looking for a chance to organize a simple catch-up over dinner with them. Thinking back, I always make the first move to ask them out. Do I mind? Not at all. I am quite content with my current life & what I have. Of course, if a thing is possible, I'd definitely tick that off my contentment list!

Why do I suddenly bring up this matter in my blog out of nowhere? I had encountered an ending of a friendship (I am not talking about myself). Rather, it was SUDDEN without any warning. 

I have a question: Will you give your friend another 2nd chance if she/he regrets what they did to you & is willing to change her/his attitude towards you & other friends?

I myself find it such hard to answer. It depends on the circumstances. But time will tell & heal all wounds. At first, it might not be good as you might experience disturbance (I don't know how to say it but it is something like that) from that friend. 

My advice is to leave them alone & calm down. Reflect over your wrongdoings & attitude in life. But don't hope so much for the broken friendship. Lead yr own life without that friend. It's unknown whether u two will be friends ever again. So, no use brooding over it now. Maybe many years later, when things are forgotten, stuff might naturally happen. Let nature take its course.

I've heard about the five love languages long ago but had yet to come to find mine.

Now, since I have some time before I go to sleep. I decided to check the website out.

I believe what my loved ones say is extremely important to me, especially the way how they talk to me. I dislike hearing discouraging words although they mean me well. Not knowing clearly which direction I am going in, only confuses me and I tend to put myself 1st.

This is my 1st love language, according to the test. I like to spend quality time with loved ones but I dislike any distraction. Sometimes, I can get fed up when I am interrupted in something and have to pause. It only makes me feel like not wanting to do things anymore with them. I just don't bother about them until they realize my displeasure.Why should I tell them how I feel when they don't especially bother about my feelings, ya? This only shows I am not really important in their lives.

Don’t mistake this love language for materialism; the receiver of gifts thrives on the love, thoughtfulness, and effort behind the gift. If you speak this language, the perfect gift or gesture shows that you are known, you are cared for, and you are prized above whatever was sacrificed to bring the gift to you. This is one of my 2nd highest which is equal to Point 5 : Physical Touch. Yes, I would be extremely happy if I receive gifts which I do not expect at all but are my favorites, especially surprises! It shows the thoughtfulness of the sender.

Can vacuuming the floors really be an expression of love? Absolutely! Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. The words he or she most want to hear: “Let me do that for you.” Laziness, broken commitments, and making more work for them tell speakers of this language their feelings don’t matter.

I do not know why this language is at the bottom for me.. =( but if my loved ones do things for me without expecting anything in return, I would feel thankful and grateful from the bottom of my heart. It shows they do appreciate me.

This language isn’t all about the bedroom. A person whose primary language is Physical Touch is, not surprisingly, very touchy. Hugs, pats on the back, holding hands, and thoughtful touches on the arm, shoulder, or face—they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love. I like showing passion in my physical touch and I believe that it does deepen the emotional tie.
